Location: Hamilton, Ohio. This opportunity is best suited for a local candidate and offers a strong in-office presence with flexibility as appropriate.

Note: To be considered, you must be a CPA with a strong tax and accounting foundation, excellent client-facing communication skills, and the ability to lead business conversations confidently in real time. We are seeking candidates with permanent U.S. work authorization.

Job Description

  • Serve as the primary advisor and relationship lead for a portfolio of business clients
  • Lead recurring client meetings, financial reviews, and strategic business planning discussions
  • Answer tax and accounting questions in real time with confidence and sound judgment
  • Connect tax implications to broader business and operational decisions
  • Identify risks, issues, and opportunities across tax, compliance, and advisory work
  • Coordinate with internal delivery teams to ensure execution, follow-through, and client confidence
  • Build strong, trusted client relationships and serve as a clear point of accountability
  • Know when to involve specialists while still maintaining leadership of the client relationship
  • Help drive firm growth through strong advisory work, client retention, and relationship expansion

Qualifications

  • Active CPA required
  • Strong tax and accounting foundation required
  • Strong public accounting background preferred
  • Must be comfortable leading client conversations and serving as the face of the relationship
  • Strong professional judgment and ability to think clearly in real time
  • Must genuinely enjoy client interaction and relationship-building
  • Advisory experience with privately held businesses strongly preferred
  • Leadership, business development, or partner-track experience is a plus
